I loved the book at first sight; the beautiful blend of colors, the illustrations, and the fonts used.
Most children would undoubtedly be attracted to the book with the yellow letterings and colorful background.
When the book arrived in the mail, I wasn’t disappointed either. It was as beautiful as the digital copy I saw online.
The book is easy to read, with short bedtime bible stories.

My Thoughts on the Book – God’s Words to Dream On: Bedtime Bible Stories and Prayers
As I earlier stated, this is a very attractive book that immediately draws the reader in due to the soft pastel colors and illustrations.
Furthermore, this book will help parents set the foundation for their children to know God and form a relationship with Him.
Each story has a bible reference which is good. Because it makes it easy for the parent who wants to explore the bible passage further to do so.
Similarly, each story has a prayer point thereby helping children form the habits of praying to God as well.
I believe this book will help parents form a happy bedtime routine for their children.
The book also contains tips for parents to use it.
The Children’s Thoughts on the Book – God’s Words to Dream On: Bedtime Bible Stories and Prayers
What I did was to form the routine of reading the bedtime stories to my children and then ask their opinions of the book after a while.
Here’s what my tween thought;
“It has scriptures that you could refer to and read the full story. The stories are interesting because of the pictures.”
And the kindergartner thought;
“I like it because it’s got so many rainbows on it. And it contains plenty of pictures.”
My elementary schooler said;
“What I like about it is that it has stories about God.”
Summary
In summary, this book (God’s word to dream on) is a great resource for anyone wanting to introduce children to God at an early age.
I had a similar book as a young child and I enjoyed reading it so much! Who knows if that’s what birthed the desire to know God in me.
One thing is certain, Proverbs 22:6 is clear;
“6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (KJV)
As parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles, don’t wait until a child is too old to begin teaching them the ways of the Lord.
This is the real reason why I don’t neglect reviewing children’s books because I want you my esteemed readers to teach God’s words to your children as well.
