What is the Encouraging Blogger Award?
The Encouraging Blogger Award was created to recognize any blogger who encourages others with his or her posts.
Lisa creatively came up with this award in order to encourage encouraging bloggers. Isn’t that nice? She is an encourager herself and quite passionate about this. On her blog, Lisa encourages others to try new things; easy recipes, DIY projects, tech tools, and more.
Here are some specific things Lisa wrote about the encouraging blogger award;
Bloggers may encourage others to travel, try new things, have a positive mindset, or overcome adversity, for example. An encouraging blog may encourage other bloggers or give business tips. Many blogs are encouraging and we don’t even realize it. Bloggers nominate fellow bloggers for this award, and nominees write a post answering a few questions. After that, the nominee nominates other bloggers.

My Answers for this nomination (Questions are typed verbatim)
When and why did you start blogging?
My first attempt at blogging was in 2010. Being a computer scientist, I have always had an affinity for systems, the internet, and the possibilities that they offer. But I was too busy with my day job and other things going on in my life to be committed to it. It has always been my vision to bring God’s word to people in the comfort of their homes.
What is your blog about?
Here at AllRoundJesus, I love to encourage others by writing faith-based posts on developing and maintaining a deeper connection with God through prayer, Christian encouragement, biblical studies, real-life testimonies, book reviews, and more.
What advice would you give to encourage new bloggers?
Don’t compare yourself with other bloggers, everyone’s timing and situation is different. If you compare yourself with other bloggers, you will feel frustrated. Determine the pace that works for you and be consistent in your efforts, and your blog will grow with time.
Additionally, the blogging world is an encouraging and supportive one so don’t be an Island. Collaborate with other bloggers and have fun doing so. There are so many Facebook support groups out there as well. Find and join some in your niche.
Which is your favorite time-saving blogging tip or scheduling tool?
One thing that will save you time and free you from the need to participate in every social share thread is to learn SEO (search engine optimization).
My all-time favorite scheduling tool is Tailwind as it gives me the opportunity to schedule pins to Pinterest for weeks and months in advance.
This is very good for me as I don’t have the luxury of manually pinning due to my busy work schedule.
What are your future goals for your blog?
First, I must say that God owns the future and He alone knows what the future holds. With that said, my future goal is to increase blog readership and continue being a source of inspiration and encouragement to my esteemed readers.
