Word of Encouragement – Covid-19

Encouraging Words in Trying Times – Covid-19

Below is an email I sent to my subscribers about the ongoing pandemic, and I felt it may be helpful to just put it out there as a word of encouragement to someone.

I don’t usually do this and of course, only my subscribers have access to my library of free resources.

So if you’re still on the fence about subscribing, I urge you to reconsider as there are helpful freebies in the library plus more to come.

We’re in trying times as the world goes through the Covid-19 pandemic.

It’s easy to be afraid and lose sight of God as we listen to the news, read the papers and watch other people’s reactions.

But here’s God’s promise for you and me;

God’s Promise in Time of Trial

 Isa 43:2 — Isa 43:3 (NKJV)

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom,

Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

This promise of God still holds true today because He gave Jesus Christ for our ransom.

And for us, He has promised to be with us through the waters, rivers, and fire.

So we’re not alone in this crisis.

This is the time for us children of God to distinguish ourselves by exhibiting faith and not fear.

Put your trust in God and He will keep you through it all.

We will be safe and sound because He promised in His word;

Scared of Covid19? Here are some words of encouragement.

Psa 91:5 — Psa 91:9 (NKJV)

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

So we shall not be afraid of Covid-19 but we shall observe due diligence by making sure we follow the recommendations of health officials to ensure proper and frequent hand washing.

We shall ensure that our environment is germ-free. Here is a useful video from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about how to protect yourself against Covid-19.

And then we will leave the rest to God to keep us and protect us.

We shall have no fear because God is our help.

The US President has declared a national emergency and most schools are closed for the next two weeks.

If you have a school-aged child/children, view this as an opportunity to interact more with them and gain insight into how they learn.

And don’t forget to impact your faith into them through your words and actions.

Don’t be afraid. As I type this mail, I hear God saying to my spirit; I am your shield and exceeding great reward.

If He’s my shield, then no evil can come near me.

This week on the blog, I wrote about 8 indicators of spiritual growth. It is for anyone interested in growing spiritually or has ever wondered whether they are growing spiritually.

So go over to read the post and while there, please leave me a comment.

I promise you there’s no irrelevant comment and your comment will absolutely bless my heart.

One more thing, don’t forget to click the share button too. Thanks!

Till next time, stay blessed.
